1st Meeting of the Assembly of UArctic: Plans are now in place to hold the first Meeting of the Assembly in Copenhagen, Denmark on February 25 & 26, 2020. Be sure to Save-the-Date!

Note: During the 22nd Council meeting, members supported the proposal endorsing the establishment of a UArctic legal entity in the form of a non-profit association under the laws of Finland. As a result, and in accordance with the new UArctic Constitution, as of January 1, 2020 members of UArctic (as a whole) are represented as the Assembly of UArctic (previously the Council of UArctic), and in the future the annual membership meeting will be known as a Meeting of the Assembly (previously known as Meetings of the Council). For a full overview on the background and what UArctic’s transition to a legal non-profit association means for the organization and our members, browse the UArctic legal entity – General FAQ.

2020 Meeting of the Assembly of UArctic: The meeting is hosted by UArctic members, Ilisimatusarfik / University of Greenland, Copenhagen Business School, and the Technical University of Denmark.

With pre-events scheduled for the afternoon of Tuesday February 25th, the Assembly meeting will be held on Wednesday the 26th at the North Atlantic House.

Registrations will be open, and full program and agenda details will be shared with all member representatives in mid-December. Visit our Assembly Meeting webpage for details and updated.

We look forward to seeing you in Copenhagen in 2020.
