Member institutions of the University of the Arctic are invited to send proposals to the University of the Arctic to host a Regional Office of Undergraduate Studies for Russia.
In the proposal the applicant should demonstrate its adherence to the University of the Arctic's values and goals, demonstrate relevant competency and experience in international cooperation and the ability to deliver distance education at the bachelor's level.
 
Where relevant, the applicant should present the experience the institution has had in participating in the development and/or delivery of the Circumpolar Studies Program.
Applicants are requested to present evidence of support of the institution to host the office by a letter from the rector, as well as a clear financial plan, consistent with the proposal approved by the Council. The institution should be prepared to work with the UArctic to secure funding for the activity.
 
Applications are invited to be submitted to the University of the Arctic at the latest by November 30, 2007. Please also note this is an extension of the earlier deadline of August 31, 2007 that was announced to UArctic members on August 16, 2007.
