UNBC2 Clarence Hofsink, who will be graduating from UNBC this spring with a Bachelor of Arts in Northern Studies and Political Science, will receive a Confirmation of Completion certificate for finishing the University of Arctic’s Bachelor of Circumpolar Studies core courses and an Advanced Emphasis in Autonomy and Self-Government.






UNBC1Kelly MacNeil, a regional student from Terrace who is doing her Bachelor of Arts in Northern Studies with a minor in Environmental Studies, will receive a Confirmation of Achievement certificate for completing the Bachelor of Circumpolar Studies core courses. Kelly is currently working on her Advanced Emphasis in History and Development. When asked about her UArctic experience, Kelly remarked that the “on-line classes reflected the international scope of the Northern Studies program and illustrated the paramount importance to me of contemporary research and education that is both in and on the North.”

The students will be joined in Edmonton by the Northern Studies Coordinator, Gary Wilson, who will be representing UNBC at the Annual General Meeting.
