The Arctic Yearbook is the outcome of the Northern Research Forum and Thematic Network (TN) on Geopolitics and Security.

The Arctic Yearbook is intended to be the preeminent repository of critical analysis on the Arctic region, with a mandate to inform observers about the state of Arctic geopolitics and security. It is an international and interdisciplinary peer-reviewed publication. The full publication will be available for download on the Arctic Yearbook website.

This year’s theme is “Arctic Governance and Governing”. This theme is meant to evaluate the innovation and progress being made in Arctic governance today, as well as conflicts and challenges. The Arctic Yearbook is edited by Lassi Heininen (Editor) with Heather Exner-Pirot and Joël Plouffe (Managing Editors).
