The report tells of the research results on community opinion about the Arctic, how the society accepts the Arctic and what the political and economic status of the Arctic regions is.

The survey involved 10,000 respondents from all eight Arctic countries: Canada, United States, Russia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland. The survey was conducted in nine languages. Respondents shared their opinions on various Arctic issues: security, environment and economy.

The report is a continuation of the first part of the “Rethinking the Top of the World: Arctic Public Opinion Survey”, released in 2011. It allows to compare how public opinion in these countries has changed over the five years.
