The Call for Abstracts for the One Arctic – One Health Conference 2019 is now open until December 31, 2018.

The One Arctic – One Health Conference 2019 is an integral part of Finland’s Arctic Council chairmanship program and is open to scientists, students, policy makers, businesses and all other interested stakeholders. The science sections will focus on all the multidisciplinary themes of One Health approach - health of environment, wildlife, domestic animals and humans - from social aspects to technological solutions. Active participation by indigenous peoples is highly appreciated. One Health enhances participatory community-based approaches for identifying and responding to health and well-being issues in communities which take into account traditional and local knowledge.

The format of the presentations (oral or poster) can be proposed by the authors, but will be decided by the Local Organizing Committee (Chairs: Antti Oksanen, antti.oksanen@evira.fi and Arja Rautio, arja.rautio@oulu.fi).

Please, send your abstract as e-mail attachment in a common text format (e.g. MS WORD) to Heli Niittynen, e-mail: heli.niittynen@oulu.fi.
