A draft agreement on the establishment of a UNESCO Chair in NArFU is being prepared

The UNESCO Secretariat praised the application of the Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov for the establishment of the UNESCO Chair "Technologies for Preservation of the Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Arctic Region - Technologies for Preservation of The Historical and Cultural Heritage of The Arctic region countries".
According to the Executive Secretary of the Russian Federation Commission for UNESCO, the Ambassador at Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Grigory Ordzhonikidze, work is underway at the Organization's headquarters in Paris on a draft agreement for the establishment of a department in NArFU.
In March this year, in Kazan, at a meeting of the Coordinating Committee of UNESCO Chairs, NArFU's request for the creation of a UNESCO Chair was thoroughly evaluated by experts.
