From 7-9 November 2023, the Norwegian project "The Nansen Legacy" invites the international research community to symposium with the title "Towards the new Arctic Ocean – Past, Present, Future" in Tromsø, Norway.

The 6th Digital Belt and Road Conference (DBAR 2022) was held on the 7-9 September 2022, in parallel with the 2022 International Forum on Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals (FBAS 2022).


This is an open invitation for academics, policy makers and practitioners to propose a session for Sustainability Science Days conference 2023: Pathways of Hope – Knowledge, Actions, Solutions, that will be arranged on 24–26 May 2023.




Albert van Wijngaarden is one of the first individuals to receive an event scholarship through UArctic thanks to a private donation. In October 2022 he spent several days in Reykjavík, Iceland, immersing himself in Arctic perspectives and conversations. 






Thanks to a private donation to UArctic, Alexandre Delangle got to spend three intensive days in Reykjavík expanding his networks and knowledge. He joined the 2022 Arctic Circle Assembly as one of the My Northern Project participants, pitching his research topic in less than five minutes in the science popularization contest.
