The northern Canada north2north program will provide some scholarships to staff/faculty who are residents of Canada and are working at a north2north member institution in Canada. A north2north mobility exchange should contribute to strengthening of knowledge exchange and relationships between north2north institutions in circumpolar context. Activities such as teaching and networking to build relationships will be prioritized over conferences and events. Applicants who are living in or from the north (YT, NT, NU) and/or working within a field related Arctic, Indigenous or Northern Circumpolar knowledge will be prioritized. The applicant will be responsible for connecting to a partner institution and finding a mobility opportunity.
The duration of the mobility exchange is flexible and must be approved by the applicants home and host institution. Successful applicants will be granted up to 5000 CAD. Additional funds may be granted due to special circumstances such as remote travel, more information can be found at yukonu.ca/uarctic.

February 15 |
Deadline for staff/faculty to contact north2north institutional contact to inform them of their interest in applying for a north2north grant if they have not already submitted an application. |
February 18 |
Deadline for all staff/faculty potential applicants to submit their online application. In order to receive scholarship, staff must receive approval from their supervisor and home institution. |
End of March |
The regional coordinator will inform north2north institutional contacts and/or applicants of all successful staff/faculty applicants. |
